John C. Daniels

School of International Communication

Our Mission

John C. Daniels School of International Communication is committed to the belief that all children are capable of learning. Through our dual language program, all children are instructed in Spanish and English with the goal of becoming bilingual and bi-literate in both languages by the end of eighth grade. We focus on the development of the whole child: intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. Through this focus we address individual differences and needs while challenging and motivating each child to reach their full potential.

Hello to all our Third grade parents!

Happy New Year to all of you.  Now that we are beginning the new year, many changes are happening in the classroom.  We are beginning to practice for CMT and students are working hard everyday in their classrooms.  You will see homework packets that look different and the amount of homework has increased.  Please make sure students are completing everything, in school on time and are ready to work.  We do not want them to feel frustrated.  Everything that is on the test will be reviewed in the classroom.  If you have questions,  please feel free to contact either Mrs. Smith or Ms. Atencio.

Happy Thanksgiving!

As we kick off the holiday season, let us extend our warmest wishes to you and your families.

I would like to thank all of the parents who came and witnessed our one act play "Journey of a Rock."  The kids were so excited to perform and will do a command repeat performance on Wednesday prior to the long weekend.

Both classes will be sharing our family traditions with a pie tasting on Wednesday November 23rd.  You may send in a pie on Wednesday for your child so they may share with their friends.

Lastly, thank you to all parents who came to report card conferences.  The children did a great job in our first marking period and we will work just as hard as we head into the winter season.

Enjoy the long weekend,

Mrs. Smith
